CS + STATISTICS + APPLIED ML
M.S. candidate in Data Science & Statistics at UT Dallas, applying statistical modeling and machine learning to real-world problems, recently in healthcare analytics and consumer systems.
About
My work sits at the intersection of statistics and applied machine learning, usually on problems where the data is incomplete or noisy. Recent projects include extracting drug-safety signals from FDA adverse event reports, modeling healthcare access risk across Nigeria's local government areas, and detecting frac hit anomalies between oil wells in real time.
The common thread is handling data that doesn't cooperate: missing values, class imbalance, distribution shift between training and deployment. That's usually where the harder problems live, and where I've focused most of my time.
